Beginning Monday, some visitors to the Las Vegas Strip will have to pay to park at MGM properties.
The fees will vary depending on the property. It is an issue that has sparked a lot of controversy and 13 Action News spoke to MGM CEO Jim Murren about it on Friday.
Murren told us that MGM has the best resorts in Las Vegas, the best employees, and the best entertainment and MGM believe it will continue to get more than their fair share of the market at their properties.
Locals won't have to worry about it for a while at least. Parking for residents will remain free through the end of the year. All you have to do is scan your Nevada ID when you enter a garage.
