Signs of mourning and hope are showing up everywhere after the Oct. 1 mass shooting that occurred at the Route 91 festival.

One of the more recent memorials to pop up is near Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard – the site where another outdoor music festival took place, Rock in Rio.

This site is owned by MGM, just like the Mandalay Bay, and brings up its own set of emotions for those leaving flowers and posters.
The overwhelming feeling of grief is coupled with the realization that it could've happened to anyone at any time. That's why it's not surprising to see these signs of hope spring up around the Las Vegas valley.
There is also a growing memorial at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, just south of the Route 91 Harvest Festival site.
