LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — While many are heading to the store for last-minute Thanksgiving ingredients, others are making a stop at local dispensaries for "Green Wednesday".
Marijuana dispensary representatives told 13 Action News that the day before Thanksgiving is the second busiest day of the year for them next to April 20, or 4/20.
Customers typically purchase pot before the holiday to help make difficult conversations with family easier while others plan to add it to their food, according to a marketplace spokesperson.
The day before Thanksgiving is not only a big day for cannabis purchases but also for drinking, as Wednesday is known as "Drinksgiving."
