On the heels of a huge victory last week, the marijuana industry is gathering in Las Vegas to look toward the future.

The Marijuana Business Conference and Expo is meant to educate entrepreneurs, investors and anyone else looking to get into the budding business.
Experts say the job opportunities for local Nevadans will be significant, and potential hires don't need to know much about weed either.
"There are thousands and thousands of other types of companies that don't touch marijuana and they employ software professionals and marketing professionals and legal firms," said Chris Walsh, the editorial director of Marijuana Business Daily. "Basically any type of service that is needed in any other industry is needed in this one."
Walsh estimates at least 100,000 jobs will be created between the eight states -- including Nevada -- that passed cannabis measures last week.
The conference begins Wednesday and goes through Friday.
