The victim was sleeping in his apartment when an unknown subject shot multiple rounds through his bedroom window. The victim was struck and sustained non-life threatening injuries. He is being treated at Desert Springs Hospital.
The 25-year-old victim's mother couldn't believe it when she found out someone shot her son in his own apartment. He was hit in the wrist, arm and forehead.
"Your home is supposed to be your castle," said Semia Stewart.
Stewart says she has no idea why anyone would want to hurt her son.
"Sweet, loving, caring, funny, talented young man," she said.
The suspect remains on the loose.
"Me and my family are hurtin' and you're walking around free," Stewart said.
The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Las Vegas police.
