Man wanted for murder in Nevada arrested in California

A Nevada man wanted for attempted murder was arrested in California around 5 p.m. Saturday after he was spotted in a stolen vehicle by police.
 
Deputies from the Needles Police and Sheriff's Department conducted a felony traffic stop after locating the vehicle. All occupants were taken into custody without incident.
 
The driver, 38-year-old Alfred Hicks from Kingman, Arizona, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Records also showed he was wanted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for attempted murder.
 
49-year-old Clifford Abrams from Mohave Valley, Arizona, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and syringes and had multiple warrants for his arrest.
 
21-year-old Destiny Brown from Needles, California, exhibited signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
 
All three subjects were taken to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Hicks and Abrams were held without bail, while Brown was later released.
