A man was shot in the hip late Friday night just west of the Las Vegas Strip.
911 dispatchers received a call from the man saying he had been shot around 11 p.m. near Sammy Davis Jr. Drive and Desert Inn Road.
Police arrived to find the man with a gunshot wound. He was then transported to University Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police have not released any information on a suspect.
