A man was killed crossing a street shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
It happened on Flaming Road, approximately 25 feet east of Tamarus Street.
According to witnesses, the man was crossing Flamingo outside of a crosswalk when he was hit by a Nissan that was traveling eastbound on Flamingo Road.
The driver of the Nissan stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
This is the 67th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas for 2016.
The deceased will be identified by the Clark County coroner after relatives have been notified.
