A man who was hit by a vehicle near South Bruce Street and East Lewis Avenue in early January has died.

It happened around 3:11 p.m. Jan. 4. The man was crossing Bruce Street when he was hit by a 2015 Buick Verano driven by an 84-year-old man. The pedestrian sustained significant head injuries and was transported to Sunrise Hospital.
The Clark County coroner's office notified Las Vegas police on Feb. 13 that the pedestrian, a 68-year-old man, did not survive. His death is the 8th traffic-related fatality for 2018.
It is not known if the driver was charged.
