LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police are investigating a homicide near Jackie Drive and Trish Lane in northeast Las Vegas.

Around 8:10 a.m. Monday a man was found in the intersection with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
People in the neighborhood say about three to four people were outside drinking at one of the homes late Sunday night and early Monday morning.

"It's kind of creepy," says one neighbor, Christine Brooks.  "Nothing ever happens in this neighborhood, it's all families and it's kind of upsetting."

The man was spotted by a mother in the neighborhood who was taking her child to school and noticed him on the driveway bleeding.

Police have two people in custody for questioning, who they believe may be involved in the incident.

The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased after relatives have been notified.
