LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A man was found dead and wrapped in a sleeping bag in the desert near Las Vegas, police say.
According to officials, Red Rock Search and Rescue was searching the area of State Route 147 (mile marker 13) for a missing person on Sept. 20 when they came across the body.

Police say the man was murdered at a different location and then dropped at the desert.
The identification and cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Police have not release any suspect information.
