Police say a man elbowed a police officer at a traffic stop and then ran off into a surrounding neighborhood.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday night near Tropicana and Boulder Highway.
About 20 Las Vegas Police officers responded to the scene to search for the man who ran off. They also had the police helicopter in the air searching for the man.
Two passengers were put into handcuffs to be questioned.
