LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a man died after a crash near Fort Apache and Blue Diamond roads on Wednesday.
Police say a 2016 Hyundai was traveling south on Fort Apache and was preparing to turn onto Furnace Gulch when it was stuck by a 2016 Dodge Challenger that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The 52-year-old driver of the Hyundai was transported to Sunrise Hospital and pronounced deceased.
The 19-year-old driver of the Challenger, identified as Zaon Collins, was also transported to Sunrise with moderate injuries.
Collins, who displayed signs of being impaired, was also arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The coroner will identify the man after notifications have been made.
Collins is facing one count of DUI above the legal limit and one count of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm.
