UPDATE: Man accused in realtor stabbing sentenced to prison

UPDATE APRIL 7: Daniel Mora was sentenced Thursday following last year's stabbing of North Las Vegas realtor Ryan Vega.

He was sentenced to a maximum of 10 years and a minimum of three years in the Nevada Department of Corrections. He has about six months of credit for time served.

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A 36-year-old man was arrested over the weekend in connection to thestabbing of a real estate agent.
 
On Friday, September 30, 2016, at about 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Webster Street, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Civic Center Drive.
 
Ryan Vega was transported to UMC Hospital where he remains with serious injuries. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Daniel Mora, was gone when police arrived.
 
On Friday, Oct. 7, at about 9:00 p.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Webster Street regarding a disturbance.  
 
Officers arrived and located Mora where he was taken into police custody after attempting to flee the scene.
 
Mora was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and booked for battery with a deadly weapon and obstructing.
