A 21-year-old is behind bars accused of having inappropriate relations with a teenager.

According to court documents obtained by 13 Action News, Nick Austin Young was arrested back in January after his alleged actions last summer.

Young's arrest report states the inappropriate relationship started when he messaged a 13-year-old girl on Instagram saying hello and then sending a photo of his torso.

Investigators say the pair messaged back and worth and it wasn't long before Young asked the girl to meet. When she objected, Young reportedly blackmailed her saying, "If you don't meet me I'm going to tell your mom you're trying to meet me, and you talked to me first."

The victim told police she met the suspect close to where she lives, bringing her dog for protection.

When Young showed up, he reportedly forced the girl to kiss him and climb in the back of his dark gray four-door vehicle.

In a second incident, Young reportedly forced the same victim to perform other sex act. Both incidents occurred in the summer of 2015.

The victim, who is not being named, told investigators she agreed to meet up with the suspect out of fear that he would find her mother and contact her on Instagram.

The victim's mother learned of the incidents after text messages where discovered between her daughter and a friend discussing what happened.

Prior to his January arrest, Young was contacted by detectives over the phone.

His lawyer, Ben Nadig, wouldn't go on camera but told 13 Action News his client has the support of his immediate family.

Young remains locked up at the Clark County Detention Center, facing 26 charges including kidnapping and sexual assault with a child under the age of 14. A preliminary hearing has been set for April 11 at 9:30 a.m.

Police released Young's mug shot on Thursday morning.
