June is national safety month and Las Vegas police are encouraging firearm owners to lock their guns up while not in use.
The department released a series of videos relating to gun safety, including keeping children safe from guns and preventing intruders from stealing firearms.
On Monday, police also encouraged the public to secure their firearms after a series of robberies left a 7-Eleven clerk critically injured.
