LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metro responded to reports of a shooting near the area of Alexander Avenue and D Street at around 1:12 p.m. on Saturday.
Police arrived at the scene and found a male and female who had sustained gunshots.
The shooting happened at the 1900 block of D Street.
The male and female were a couple having a verbal fight when the dispute became physical.
Another resident of the home got a gun and shot at the couple. The individual left the house and fled in a black, four-door car.
They were last seen southbound on D Street.
Both were transported to the hospital where the male victim has been pronounced dead.
The woman is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, and a press conference will be held with more details.
