LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a man was dropped off at Spring Valley Hospital with a gunshot wound Monday night.

Dispatchers received initial reports of the man from hospital staff around 6:37 p.m. Police say that the man was pronounced dead while officers were en route to the hospital.

An initial investigation revealed that a shooting took place in the 4200 block of Hallendale Drive. After being unable to find it initially, police were able to locate a crime scene at the residence on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, the subjects who dropped the person off were also seen leaving the area.
