LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An employee at the Luxor hotel-casino in Las Vegas has tested positive for coronavirus, COVID-19, according to an MGM Resorts spokesperson as of Friday evening.
MGM Resorts International released the following statement:
“MGM Resorts has learned that an employee at Luxor Hotel & Casino has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are coordinating with the Southern Nevada Health District to notify people who may have been in close contact with the employee and are providing additional support as needed.”
MGM Resorts also said it will keep the latest updates on its prevention and protocols during the coronavirus pandemic here.
Earlier reports had MGM Resorts temporarily closing day and nightclubs along with a Hakkasan employee testing presumptively positive for COVID-19.
