LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 5 coronavirus cases are confirmed the United States, according to ABC News.
Multiple countries are dealing with the coronavirus after reports of the virus originating in China.
There have also been a number of coronavirus scares, some with local ties.
Medical teams were called out to a Southwest flight that took off from Las Vegas Saturday.
Someone on board was reported sick and they were checked out once the plane landed in Baltimore, out of recent concerns over the disease.
Earlier, Cirque du Soleil executives decided to have 7 Chinese artists from the Michael Jackson One show sit out of the show for 3 days to make sure they weren't showing symptoms of the coronavirus.
The show takes place at Mandalay Bay.
Officials say 18 people have died due to the virus, and hundreds of others have been sickened.

The virus has also spread, including to locations in the United States.
Symptoms can appear to be similar to the common cold or flu, and Dr. Daliah Wachs, family physician in Las Vegas, says she recommends getting checked if you are not feeling well.
"There may be some people that say I've been sick with this. I thought it was the flu. They get tested, and these numbers are going to rise exponentially," Wachs said.
Crews from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be at airports around the country, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta.
McCarran International Airport is not on that list as of Jan. 22. Still, airport officials said in a statement: "Public health officials determine where screening is necessary, and at this time we have not been advised that screening will take place at McCarran."
