Little girl raises money for Three Square food bank

Vivi Robillard has been raising money for Three Square pretty much her whole life. Her parents took her to the food bank when she was just 4 years old and they say something just clicked.

"It just made her realize that there are kids out there that don't have food, and that was it," Vivi's mother, Gabrielle Robillard said.

"I got very sad and I didn't know what it was like for them so I just wanted to help," Vivi told 13 Action News.

The only problem is, 4 years old is too young to volunteer, but Vivi was not going to let a little detail like that stop her.

"We went home and she made a little video, it was really for her grandparents. And it was so cute I couldn't help but put it on social media," Gabrielle said.

That video got Three Square's attention. The food bank launched its own campaign, featuring Vivi. So far it's raised more than $35,000.

"Holy cow, this is my daughter and she's been able to be a catalyst for so much good," Vivi's father, Brett Robillard, told 13 Action News.

To give you a little perspective, $1 pays for three meals. That means Vivi has helped provide 105,000 meals for people right here in Southern Nevada.

"Eating comes first before anything. Before presents, before paper, before phones, before anything," Vivi said.

If you would like to involved, Three Square accepts donations online.
