Less people are taking taxis in the Las Vegas valley because of Uber and Lyft.
According to a story in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a 19.2 percent decline was reported for the month of November in comparison to the same month in 2016.
Overall, there have been 4.2 less riders so far this year.
Stan Olsen, chairman of the agency that regulates the taxicab industry in Southern Nevada, says that many people are now choosing services like Uber and Lyft.
