Back in November, Lee Canyon held a "Pray for Snow" party, and now, the ski and snowboarding destination is finally open for the season.
Temperatures across the country have dropped, and forecasts show moisture from up north headed south, so officials are staying positive for the rest of the season.
They are still praying for snow, however, hoping Mother Nature can help out their snowmakers.
"We do have snowmakers," says Jim Seely, the marketing director with Lee Canyon. "We'll crank out the snow when the temperatures are optimum enough so we can get all the trails open."
