LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — From the moment Sasha Pina and Sierra Dabies met at Sunset Park in 2017, they formed a tight bond.

The two friends both battle epilepsy and they are helping each other deal with the disease.

"Some days are good some days are bad so when you have friends like Sierra it helps because you can talk to them and they understand," Dabies said.

Epilepsy is a chronic disorder and the hallmark for causing unprovoked seizures.

Doctors say it's one of the most common Neurological disorders.

Pina and Dabies made a vow to go on this journey together.

The women are spreading awareness through their social media page, Team Sasha Strong, in hopes to end the fight against epilepsy.
