LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Thursday is expected to be the first 90° day of the year in the Las Vegas valley.
13 Action News Meteorologist Justin Bruce is forecasting the temperature to hit 90° by 4 p.m., and he says the valley could hit 100° next week.

If Las Vegas reaches 100° on Wednesday, it would be the first time that's ever happened in April.
The current record for earliest 100° day is May 1, 1947.
The average first 100° day in Las Vegas is May 26. Last year (2019) Las Vegas didn't reach 100° until June 5.
