NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The City of North Las Vegas unveiled a tribute to the 1 October victims on Tuesday.
The city unveiled a "North Las Vegas Strong" bench at Craig Ranch Regional Park near Craig and Commerce.

Family members of Neysa Tonks, one of the locals who lost her life in the shooting, were at the unveiling.
Mynda Smith, Tonks' sister, says, "I think time changes easy -- I don't know if easier is the word -- but it changes and evolves. And there are different difficulties that come that you weren't expecting."

Smith also says the 58 families have connected and they lean on each other for support.
