Las Vegas Sands, Adelsons set up $4M fund for victims

Las Vegas Sands Corp. and the Adelson family has announced that they are establishing a $4 million relief fund in memory of the people who lost their lives in the Las Vegas mass shooting, as well as honoring the courageous victims, festival-goers, first responders and medical professionals who joined together to save lives.

Sands Cares, the global corporate giving program of Las Vegas Sands, and the Adelson Family Foundation, the charitable giving entity of Dr. Miriam Adelson and Las Vegas Sands Chairman and Founder Sheldon G. Adelson, will each contribute $2 million to organizations providing aid to victims and their families, as well as to support and reinforce our city’s resources to respond to crisis and disaster situations.

The Sands Cares/Adelson Family Las Vegas United Relief Fund extends other company resources provided since the shooting, including in-kind facility and hotel room accommodations for victims and displaced hotel guests, food and water supplies for blood donors, and grief counseling services for affected Las Vegas Sands Team Members.
