UPDATE: Coroner identifies man killed in crash at MLK and Bonanza Road

UPDATE SEPT. 23: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man killed in the crash as 45-year-old Edward Eugene Graham. Graham's cause of death was blunt force injuries to the head and the incident was ruled an accident.

Roads in Las Vegas are closed after police say an SUV hit a person, drove away, and then crashed into two other vehicles.

The intersection of Bonanza Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard is currently closed as a result of the investigation.

According to authorities, the chain of events began on Bonanza Road near Las Vegas Boulevard at 11 p.m. on Sunday.

An SUV crashed into a person and did not stay at the scene, police say. The vehicle allegedly drove off on Bonanza. No word on the condition of the person hit.

A short time later, police say the same SUV ran a red light at the Bonanza and Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, resulting in a three-car crash.

The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word on the condition of the other drivers involved.

This investigation remains ongoing.
