Las Vegas police receive calls on Pokemon Go 'suspicious' activity

Posted

Pokemon Go players around the valley are setting off some red flags, leading to calls to police about suspicious activity.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has received 11 calls that mention Pokemon since the game launched July 10.

Some calls were from officers noticing suspicious vehicles and then noting it was someone playing Pokemon Go. There were other calls from citizens.

LVMPD ensures the calls aren't taking up many resources.
