UPDATE OCT. 7: The Clark County coroner has identified the man as 22-year-old Alfonzo Tuttle of Las Vegas. He died of a gunshot to the head. The coroner ruled his death a homicide.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says that the juvenile they believe shot the man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. No other information was provided.

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide on Ness Avenue near Jones Boulevard and Hacienda.
Authorities say around 10 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call that a man had been shot accidentally.
Police and medical arrived and found a man in his early 20s with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A minor was found in possession of a handgun and he was taken into "custody."
The man shot and killed was the boyfriend of a woman related to the minor, police say. Several people were in the home and all are being interviewed.
The incident is being considered as accidental pending further investigation, according to authorities.
The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased after notification has been made.
