UPDATE 9:32 A.M. MARCH 21: The second person involved in an apparent murder-suicide on March 20 has been identified by authorities as 23-year-old Sonya White of North Las Vegas.

UPDATE 1:50 P.M.: Police have identified 22-year-old Shiloh Delph as one of the people involved in an apparent murder-suicide early this morning.

Police say Delph and another person had been at Town Square earlier in the evening. Around 2:40 a.m., officers believe Delph shot that person in a car and then shot himself.

The identity of the second person will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - 2 people are dead and Las Vegas police are investigating what officers say appears to be a murder-suicide near Eastern Avenue and Russell Road.

Eastern was blocked off in both direction between Hacienda and Russell for several hours Officers say to expect closures to last several hours.

Police responded to a 911 call about a car accident around 2:40 a.m. Witnesses tell police a car was driving out of control.

When the car stopped moving, a witness went to check on the occupants and found the windows had been shot out.

2 people believed to be in their 20s were found dead in the car.

Officers found a gun in the vehicle.

This is an ongoing investigation.
