Police seek info, shooter after 'altercation' turns deadly in southwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police are asking for anyone with information to come forward after a "brief altercation" escalated into a deadly shooting inside a parking lot at an apartment complex in the southwest part of town.

Around 4 p.m., police say a man in his late teens arrived at the Clubs at Rhodes Ranch Apartment Homes on Warm Springs Road between Fort Apache Road and Durango Drive, and met up with two other men.

At some point, police say there was an altercation that escalated and one of the men shot and killed another.

The man shot was transported to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced dead.

The shooter has not been caught. Police believe he is in his late teens to early 20s.
