The parking lot at LVMPD headquarters will be blocked off and secured in preparation for the event. The parking lot will remain secure until after the president leaves.

The Hope for Prisoners graduation is one of many throughout the year. The nonprofit program is one of the most successful prisoner re-entry programs in the country, providing participants with life coping skills job training and mentoring from an alliance made up of LVMPD officers and other local criminal justice agencies.
