Las Vegas police warned people that they would be cracking down on illegal fireworks this year and they've already started confiscating them.
The Northwest Area Command of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confiscated dozens of fireworks in just a matter of hours earlier this week.

Illegal fireworks result in numerous fires every year in the Las Vegas valley.
