Las Vegas police will be looking for drivers who are under the influence on Friday night during a sobriety checkpoint.
The checkpoint will be in place from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The police department does not disclose the exact location, but they say that it will take place in an area where they have received 217 calls for service involving crashes and 61 calls for service involving impaired drivers.
This checkpoint is being supported by EUDL (Enforcing Under Age Drinking Laws). Officers will focus on identifying drug and alcohol impaired drivers to include juveniles, young adults, and older adults.
