The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is accepting applications for its Law Enforcement Explorer Program.
The program shows young adults what it is like to be a police officer.
They learn what it takes to be an officer on the streets, inside a jail, how to process crime scenes and take 9-1-1 calls.
Candidates must be 15 to 20 years old with no felony convictions. They must also pass a background check.
