UPDATE FEB. 23: The Clark County coroner has identified the woman as 67-year-old Venus Lee. Her death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries and it was ruled an accident.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police report a woman was struck and killed by a car in the west part of town Sunday night.
Authorities responded to the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway just after 8 p.m. with reports of a collision.
Police say a 67-year-old woman was wearing all black clothing and pushing a shopping cart while crossing Rainbow Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Chrysler 200 vehicle.
The woman was transported to the University Medical Center where she later passed away.
The driver of the Chrysler remained on scene and showed no signs of impairment, according to police.
