LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Mayor Carolyn Goodman honored the country duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley from Florida Georgia Line at Las Vegas City Hall on Tuesday.

The mayor declared Dec. 11 "Florida Georgia Line Day" commemorating the band's limited residency kicking off at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.

FGL blasted into the music scene in 2012 with “Cruise” and the band with BeBe Rexha found themselves back on the top of the charts in 2018 with “Meant to Be.”

Hubbard and Kelley received a proclamation from the mayor and Goodman also received a special token of appreciation from the band - a bottle of peach-pecan whiskey produced by the group.
