UPDATE JUNE 9: The 21-year-old man from Las Vegas has died. He has been identified as Torrian Jones by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

A 21-year-old man is in extremely critical condition after nearly drowning in Lake Havasu in Arizona on Saturday.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office Division of Boating Safety was called to Thompson Bay on Lake Havasu near London Bridge Beach to investigate a report of a missing man.
Upon arrival, several Boating Deputies and Divers with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and the Lake Havasu City Police Department entered the water and began a search. Members of the Lake Havasu City Fire Department arrived on scene as well by land, and began searching in the water.
A firefighter with the Lake Havasu City Fire Department located the missing male on the lake bottom about 25 feet off shore and in about 7 feet of water. Fire personnel along with MCSO Deputies and Lake Havasu City Police Officers pulled the male to shore and began CPR and life saving measures.
The victim, a 21-year-old male from Las Vegas, NV, was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center in extremely critical condition. Wind, waves, and swimming ability appear to be a factor, and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be involved. This incident is still under investigation.
