LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — After a record warm high of 86° on Friday, Las Vegas set a record cool high of 54° on Sunday.
We actually dropped to the 40s at times on Saturday when light rain passed near McCarran, but the official high on Saturday hit 70° after midnight before the thermometer tumbled the rest of the day.

Monday's forecast of 56° is just 1° beyond the record cool high of 55° set in 1966.
Temperatures this morning have dropped to 40° at McCarran at 6 a.m. - we haven't been in the 30s since February but we'll have the opportunity the next few mornings.
Awfully close to the 30s at McCarran. That hasn't happened since February! pic.twitter.com/AR6ImRw4AA

The good news is that we've lost the wind from the weekend, as well as the clouds and spotty rain showers.
Look for highs in the upper 50s Tuesday and the low 60s starting Wednesday.
