The latest jobless figures for Las Vegas are up slightly, about a tenth of a percent from March.
Overall, however, the local unemployment rate is down 0.8 percent from year to year.
Analysts say the slight increase is no cause for concern and the annual numbers are more indicative of Nevada's overall economy. The state unemployment rate is 5.8 percent.
