UPDATE: Police have arrested a woman who was living with the man who was killed on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they were able to locate the vehicle that they believe was involved in the fatal hit-and-run in the parking lot of a nearby business. The vehicle, which appeared to be recently damaged, was registered to both the victim and the woman.
Police then located the woman, who has been identified as 26-year-old Lahtijera Howard, in the apartment complex where the victim was found. She was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center. She is facing one count of open murder.
The Clark County coroner has identified the deceased as 34-year-old Darryl White Jr. of Las Vegas.
White's dad told 13 Action News White is the father of a toddler. White's dad also said his girlfriend, Howard, is the mother of his child.
White's family is in town to plan his funeral and collect his belongings.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a man's death Wednesday afternoon.
It was reported around 2:20 p.m. in the 3700 block of East Bonanza Road, near Pecos Road.
Officers and medical personnel located an unresponsive man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it appears man was hit by car in the driveway of the Playa Vista Apartments.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives and Fatal Detail are working the case together because they aren't sure if this was intentional or a hit-and-run.
Officers say they got one call from someone that heard what sounded like a person being hit and then tires squealing.
