The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said initial evidence suggested the incident may possibly be a murder-suicide with a man and woman found dead in the home but investigators will continue to work the scene.
Thursday, the LVMPD updated the situation and said the two lived together at the home and the fire was started by one of them before the man shot himself and the woman.
The incident remains under investigation.
