Casinos in Las Vegas made $6.587 billion for the 2019 fiscal year, according to Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip brought in nearly $592 million and downtown casinos won more than $62 million.
Last year, casinos in the Las Vegas area made $6.588 billion. Although gambling was down on the Las Vegas Strip, they increased by 5.4% in downtown Las Vegas.
Revenues topped $12 billion for the entire state, the highest since 2007.
