This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 17, 2018.

10 P.M.

Henderson police are searching for a suspect in the area behind the Fiesta Henderson Hotel and Casino after an armed robbery took place in the 100 block of Green Valley Parkway around 8 p.m. There were no injuries in the robbery. Two suspects in the armed robbery have already been taken into custody, but a third suspect is still on the loose. This is still an active scene, please avoid the area.

8:15 P.M.:

UPDATE: Las Vegas police say four people were taken into custody before the barricade began. Once the barricade was cleared, it was discovered that no one was at the barricade. Roads are now reopened in the area. 

1:05 P.M.

Police activity had travel lanes on Tropicana Avenue closed near Fort Apache Road as officers worked a barricade situation at a nearby apartment complex located in the 9500 block of Tropicana Avenue. Robbery suspects were refusing to exit, according to authorities. READ MORE

9:45 A.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide in the area of Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway. Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 3300 block of South Athens Street and upon arrival located a person who was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Homicide detectives have responded and the scene remains active. 

4:01 A.M.

Police are investigating a fatal vehicle collision at the intersection of Sunset and Pecos Roads. Officers said a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe struck a curb at the intersection and hit a block wall after the driver was possibly experiencing a medical episode. The 65-year-old drive died at Sunrise Hospital.
