LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Red Cross of Nevada is helping an estimated 24 people displaced tonight after a fire at the Greenville Park Apartments in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says one apartment on the second floor caught fire and was gutted.
Crews say the fire itself did not spread to other units in the 8-unit building.
Authorities say the Red Cross was requested to assist occupants that live in the building. The utilities had to be disconnected from the building due to the fire, so several people were displaced.
It was estimated that up to two dozen people may need assistance.
The cause is still under investigation.
