Labor Day Weekend is here and it will be a busy one for Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is one of the top travel destinations for the last holiday of the summer and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority say an estimated 307,000 people are expected to visit our city.
That means that most of the hotels are full. In fact, the room occupancy is 95 percent.

It will be busy on our local roads too as people come into town and others leave.

In addition, approximately 753,000 people will travel through McCarran International Airport.
Local law enforcement will be out on the roads to help keep everyone safe. That includes the Nevada Highway Patrol who is starting a big push today to crack down on speeders, distracted driving and people who aren't wearing seat belts.
On Friday, there was a total of 372 violations. NHP had one driving under the influence arrest while California Highway Patrol impounded two vehicles and gave 11 verbal warnings.
