Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Las Vegas shares statement on death of its namesake

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Las Vegas is speaking out regarding the recent passing of American publisher and "Hustler" magazine founder Larry Flynt, who was pronounced dead at his Hollywood Hills home on Feb. 10 at the age of 78.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club - Las Vegas opened in September of 2010.

Hustler Club is a series of gentlemen's clubs licensed in agreement with longtime friends Larry Flynt and Harry Mohney.

In a written statement the Mohney family said:

“We are deeply saddened by the news of Larry Flynt’s passing, who is not only the namesake of our Las Vegas nightlife destination, but a partner, dear friend and an individual who pioneered First Amendment rights.

Flynt changed the landscape of Las Vegas’ entertainment industry as we know it, and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Mohney is the founder of Déjà Vu Services Inc., which operates nearly 200 gentlemen's clubs nationwide, with headquarters in Las Vegas.
