A new county ordinance approved today means no coolers or backpacks during the Independence Day celebrations coming up on the Las Vegas Strip.
The bag ban also applies to New Year's celebrations and other special events like block parties and building implosions.
Warnings will be given to violators.
After that, it could result in a citation or even arrest.
