People around the country have been talking about former NBA basketball player Lamar Odom this week. He is currently fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital.
For the very first time since their father was brought here, Lamar Odom's children are speaking out.
Their father was found unconscious in a brothel about an hour from Las Vegas.
Odom's children -- a son and a daughter -- flew him immediately and have been seen entering and leaving Sunrise Hospital.
Although they have not spoken to the media, they have releases a statement that says: "Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends. We ask for your continued prayers."
The Kardashian clan also finally released a formal statement on Thursday night via their websites:
"As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."
While Lamar is fighting for his life, there is another fight that is going on and it reportedly involves video that shows the Odom partying and taking pills just days before he was hospitalized.
In addition, Khloe Kardashian is upset with the owner of the brothel where her estranged husband was found. She apparently reached out toe Dennis Hof after the incident and asked him not to speak to the media.
But, Hof was upset by her request and says that he needs to protect his business and tell the truth about what happened.
He also revealed during an interview with Wendy Williams that Lamar gave the brothel employees $75,000 to spend time with him. He also said that Omar told him that he planned to spend quite a bit of time there.
